1993
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Meteorology requests staff training in fire and safety procedures.
1994
Services expanded to oil companies, Armed Forces, and commercial and industrial organizations.
1995
Collaboration with Morton in March (UK) led to establishing a firefighting training academy in Oman.
1998
The Ministry of Higher Education approves higher education in Oman with the University of Central Lancashire. The name changes to Fire Safety Engineering Collage.
2002
Accredited by CAAI (UK), IFSAC (USA), and IFE (UK); won contract to train NATO forces on campus.
2003
Accredited by ASHI (USA) and IWCF (UK), expanded vocational course offerings, and changed the name to international College of Engineering and Management
2010
Agreement signed with IOSH
2011
Launching SPS Company
2012
Agreement signed with NEBOSH
2016
Signed a long-term agreement with UCLan, launched Year 4 in Oman, invested in Hazmat training, and established MOUs with Georgetown University (USA), the institute of Public Administration, and Oklahoma state university (USA) for various programs.
2017
Launching of Salamati 1 Program
2018
Launching of Salamati 2 program
2019
Crystizing the idea of Salamati to become the First Educational Group in the Sultanate of Oman
2020
Accredited by ASHI (USA) and IWCF (UK), expanded vocational course offerings, and changed the name to international College of Engineering and Management.
2021
Agreement signed with IOSH
2022
Upgrading Fire Trucks within Safety Protection Services (SPS).
2023
The International institute of fire and Safety (IIFS) is recognized as an ICAO training provider member.
2024
Obtained OAAA for ICEM, Obtained IFSAC Accreditation renewal, Obtained ICAO trainair plus associate membership renewal, Obtained GACA Accreditation.
